PARKLOFT

San Diego's Only True Downtown Loft Building

877 Island Ave  |  92101  |  East Village

Parkloft is the one and only true loft building in downtown San Diego.  The Parkloft condos are typically large open spaces with no interior bedroom walls.  Instead, there are alcoves for bedroom privacy and many people use various room dividers – wardrobes, shelving units, sliding partitions, etc. to create “bedrooms.”

These amazing lofts have 10-14′ high ceilings, exposed ducting/plumbing, concrete walls and triple pane windows.  The developer built these lofts with beautiful wood floors, granite countertops and Sub-Zero refrigerators.

Many of these units have large patios (some with several hundred square feet of space) and the higher floors have views right into Petco Park.   Although the building lacks a pool and spa, they do have security, concierge service, a community BBQ area and a gym.  Parkloft was built in 2003 by Douglas Wilson, who also built The Mark.  There are 120 lofts and 11 stories in Parkloft.
