At 43 stories, Electra is downtown San Diego’s tallest residential high-rise. One unique feature of this luxury condo high-rise is that it was built inside a restored SDG&E building. The developer, Bosa Development, kept the exterior walls and built Electra from within the old power plant. Electra is probably most well-known for its Conservatory – the building’s elegant community room, which is truly unique and great for entertaining.
The pool and spa are up on the 5th floor, along with an outdoor BBQ area and grassy lawn. Electra has 249 condos, which include several multi-level townhomes. My favorite floor plan is the ’06 unit, which is a 1,548 2 bedroom+den / 2 bath condo that sits on the southeast corner of the building and features two balconies.
