March 12, 2024Test – Bayside 2804
July 9, 2024The Columbia District is often called “Millionaire’s Row” because of the high concentration of luxury condo towers. You can expect to find the “usual suspects” at each building, like a pool, fitness center and concierge. But they each have their own personality and offer something unique. Read on to find out more.
Bayside
Bayside is a Bosa tower that is known mostly for being “Front Row” with protected Bay, city and airport views. But the amenity list is long and even includes both sauna AND steam rooms in the fitness center, as well as a wine tasting room.
Savina
As the newest tower in the district Savina gets a lot of attention for the latest modern amenities. This includes EV Car charging for residents, a modern business center making it easy to WFH, and a huge fitness center with a dry sauna and steam room. One thing that Savina has what few other buildings have is a dedicated on-site pet park which makes this building very popular with dog owners.
Grande at Santa Fe Place
Grande at Santa Fe Place are two towers that are “Front Row” like Bayside and they are as close to the Bay as the city will allow. These are technically two separate condo buildings with their own HOA’s so they do not share amenities. However both towers have a long list including outdoor pools, fitness center and sauna and steam rooms. The Grande also has a Guest Suite for each tower so you don’t have to use your second bedroom as a guest room.
Sapphire Tower
While the amenities at Sapphire are fairly typical of the neighborhood there are two things that make this building stand out: Low Density and Huge Condos. Most of the other buildings have two bedroom non-penthouse homes that average around 1300 square feet, but at Sapphire it’s entirely possible to find a two bedroom that’s more in the 2000 square foot range.
Electra
Electra is the tallest residential tower in the city, and it comes with a huge list of terrific amenities. What really stands out here is the cavernous lobby in what is the restored historic SDG&E building. On the 5th Floor you’ll find a resort-style pool and spa deck that is the envy of most buildings. Electra is also the lowest-priced tower on Millionaire’s Row with two-bedrooms often available in the $800k range.
Pacific Gate
We’ve saved the best for last on our Columbia District amenity tour. Pacific Gate really raised the bar when it was completed in 2018 as a “Super Prime” high-rise. All those things that the other buildings have that make them unique is included at Pacific Gate, like a dog run and a guest suite. In addition to that though Pacific Gate offers something no other building has: Access to a private yacht share and a luxury car fleet. Contact us today for more details about this spectacular tower.
